A meaningful initiative coming to fruition. Our Tadlock Roofing team could not have been more proud this Breast Cancer Awareness Month to partner with and present a $20,000 donation to the Joanna Francis Living Well Foundation and the brave individuals of our community battling breast cancer.
In 2011, Joanna and Jen of the Joanna Francis Living Well Foundation saw a need for a wider net of support for not only patients but the families and friends of the Breast Cancer Community. Their mission is simply to connect and support the people who are experiencing any part of the walk with breast cancer. The JFLW Foundation hosts a group for general information but also provides personal “survivor matches” to help current patients navigate the many decisions and emotional challenges associated with treatment.
With the positive impact and effects that the JFLW Foundation has within the local community, supporting not only those fighting breast cancer but their loved ones surrounding them, our team knew we wanted to be a part of all of the good that they bring.
On October 3, 2023, our Tadlock Team announced our partnership with this incredible organization at their annual Pink Lemonade Stand event donating a portion of each and every October roof repair or replacement to their cause. You may have even seen some bright pink Tadlock Roofing crew members in the community sporting their Go Pink roofing attire in partnership with Owens Corning Roofing to raise even more awareness for Breast Awareness Month.
After an amazing and successful month of October collaborating with the members of the JFLW Foundation and seeing the change that they create, we were ecstatic to attend their monthly November meeting with our grand total donation of $20,000. Getting to see big smiles and loud laughter was truly a rewarding and proud experience and we cannot wait to see what the foundation will do in the future.
