Tadlock Roofing is proud to partner with the Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Coalition (CSAPC) and the Somer Sunshine Foundation to sponsor the 7th Annual Children’s Safe Passage Charity Golf Tournament on Oct. 24 in Jacksonville. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the golf tournament go to CSAPC and the Somer Sunshine Foundation. Since the inaugural tournament in 2010, more than $115,000 has been raised for the benefiting charities.
In addition to the golf tournament, Tadlock Roofing’s sponsorship will help fund “Stewards of Children” workbooks that will enable the Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Coalition to provide sexual abuse prevention training throughout northeast Florida. The Stewards of Children program was created by Darkness to Light, a national nonprofit organization that provides individuals, organizations and communities with the tools to protect children from sexual abuse. The program teaches organization administrators, staff and volunteers how to implement effective prevention policies, recognize the signs of sexual abuse in children and react responsibly if abuse occurs.
