Florida – March 19, 2020 – Communities across the nation are bracing for the pandemic of the infectious disease called coronavirus, or COVID-19 with more than 9,415 confirmed and presumptive positive cases in the US. Local roofing contractor, Tadlock Roofing, is launching the ability to perform virtual appointments in wake of the pandemic to keep employees and customers safe from infection, as well as eliminate the risk of spreading the virus.
60 year old+ individuals account for 10% of Tadlock Roofing’s current customer-base, and as reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the elderly and those with preexisting chronic health conditions have accounted for the majority of deaths. Social distancing is one of the things the CDC is recommending we all do to help slow the spread of COVID-19, which includes working from home, avoiding crowded places and keeping away from others.
“It’s our goal to provide a comfortable and safe environment not only for our employees, but for our customers. Given the recent progression of the virus, we felt like offering a virtual experience would alleviate some anxiety and set an example for fellow home service providers to offer something similar,” explained Mike Barrett, Corporate Sales Manager of Tadlock Roofing.
The virtual experience consists of taking the in-home sales presentation out of the equation and simply providing the customer with a link to “walk the roof” with the consultant, review options and pricing and discuss plans for repair or replacement.
