Tadlock Roofing Gives Back to U.S. Military Veterans and Their Families
Who:
Mollie Hunt, Private First Class Victor Hunt’s daughter; Maryland Hunt, Private First Class Victor Hunt’s widow; Michael Rothemeyer, Branch Manager of Tadlock Roofing; Jason Bellflower, Corporate Operations Manager of Tadlock Roofing; Dale Tadlock, Founder/CEO of Tadlock Roofing.
What/Why:
Deceased Veteran Victor Hunt’s family will receive a new roof on Tuesday, September 13, from Tadlock Roofing, as part of the local roofing contractor’s community-wide initiative to make a difference and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them.
“Our promise at Tadlock is that we treat our customers as if they were our own families, so here’s an opportunity to raise an extended family through a charity event,” said Tadlock Roofing’s Jason Bellflower. “Proud to be here.”
Veteran Victor Hunt passed in July 2022, leaving his family, including his special needs son, Lucas, with a home in desperate need of roof replacement and no assistance from insurance without a deductible – that could not be paid. With multiple rooms open to the elements and apparent mold, Tadlock Roofing is stepping up to ensure the family has a proper roof over their head.
“When they mentioned the word free, that’s what shocked me,” Jacob Hunt said. “Nothing is really free anymore, especially something like this. Things were just bad but thanks to Tadlock Roofing — hopefully it can go back to the good house it was before.”
